ODE MUSIC Ode Music was established by DJ/ Producer, Mitsuru Enomoto (bayaka) in 2003. The label's main business is music production & artist management. Previously, bayaka was active releasing music from independant labels such as Flower, Ubiquity, File Records, Planet Groove, Lifeline, Revirth, amongst others. Also, produced music for commercials for Japanese department store, Marui, drinks company, Ito-en, public broadcast tv station, NHK's sound logo, music for a film soundtrack, etc. Has also produced remixes for many artists, most recently, GTS, mink, etc. Currently, also runs 2 associated labels such as Star Fruits Records, Wild Beat Records as well. Ode Music releases from strength to strength, across the broad, independant dance music as well as J-Pop, lounge music, and jazzy hip hop and has caught the attention of a cross selection of fans. Ode Music has up until now, released albums of domestic artists, such as bayaka, jazzida grande, tobeta bajune, dj motive, teruo and with these artist's music, also released a remix album called ODE REMIX which includes remixes by top japanese club music artists such as Studio Apartment, freetempo, akakage, Toshio Matsuura, Chari Chari, Calm, and gained much attention. The label also works hard in developing artists and managing them recently and artists such as LIL', HILL TOP STUDIO. In regards to LIL', their music has been used in a Nintendo DS game, and forthcoming, their music will be released with remixes by big name overseas artists such as Kaskade, etc. and will be released on vinyl by King St. Records. Their album has a fusion of J-Pop with a club music sort of approach and is planned for released in the beginning of next year. With an aim and basis of mixing club music and J-Pop, as well as an underground stance that bayaka has developed, Ode Music plans to develop artists from strength to strength.
